Senior/Master Competitive Rower Membership

All Rowers, 18yrs and over - $550 + $120 Rowing Tas fee + $100 seat fee deposit

• Full use of the club boats, ergos and gym equipment at the sole discretion of the Captain or in their absence, the Vice Captain.
• Obtain a clubhouse passcode (if requested) to enable access to the equipment at their leisure.
• Compete for the Club in all regattas, including Rowing Tasmania Pennant Regatta.
• Vote at Club meetings in accordance with the Tamar Rowing Club Constitution.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Seat fee is for competitive rowers competing at Pennant and local Regattas

Youth Membership (Year 9-12)

Currently in Year 9 - 12 and not rowing in a school program - $396 + $105 Rowing Tas fee + $100 seat fee deposit

• Currently not rowing as part of a school program.
• Full use of the club boats/blades, ergos and gym equipment (as directed by their Coach and or Club Captain).
• Eligible to compete for the Club in all regattas, including Rowing Tasmania Pennant Regattas.
• Vote at Club meetings in accordance with the Tamar Rowing Club Constitution.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Seat fee deposit is for competitive rowers competing at Pennant Regattas.

Junior Membership (Year 6-8)

Currently in Year 6 - 8 and not rowing in a school program - $250 + $65 Rowing Tas fee + $50 seat fee deposit

• This membership is for students in years 6 to 8 who are currently not rowing as part of a school program but want to start rowing.
• Twelve month access to all Club facilities to use showers, gym and boats/blades (as directed by their Coach and or Club Captain).
• On-water coaching.
• Compete at School Regattas using Tamar equipment but wearing their applicable school Zootie.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Seat fee depposit is for competitive rowers competing at School Regattas.

Senior/Master Non - Competitive Rower Membership

All Social Rowers, 18yrs and over - $550 + $65 Rowing Tas fee

• This includes use of club boats (as specified by the boat allocation plan), rowing equipment, coaching (when available) and gym facilities.
• Obtain a clubhouse passcode to enable access to the equipment at your leisure.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Vote at club meetings in accordance with TRC Constitution.

Associate/Kayakers 

Kayakers and Rowers who use their own sculls for recreational training but do not use Club Equipment – non-voting - $440 + $65 Rowing Tas fee.  If you have Paddling Australia membership, please contact us directly at membershiptamar@gmail.com.

• Use of Club’s gym, ergos, and showers.
• Access to the facilities and may obtain a passcode.
• May store a kayak or scull at the sole discretion of the Club Captain.
• Discounted room facility hire.

Social Member

Non-voting - $55 + $0 Rowing Tas Volunteer Registration

• Members are included in social activities, newsletters and use of amenities area.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Social members are not entitled to use any Club equipment, nor vote at meetings under the Tamar Rowing Club Constitution.

Coach

Membership including, Rowing Tas registration/insurance – no charge

• Does not pay a membership fee as such, in return for their coaching contribution, but asked to consider social membership.
• They have access to the facilities and may obtain a passcode by request, but may not row or race without paying rowing membership.
• Vote at Club meetings in accordance with the Tamar Rowing Club constitution.
• Discounted room facility hire.
• Rowing Tas registration will be reimbursed by TRC once you have registered and paid.  Please contact the Treasurer at treasurertamar@gmail.com once you have registered.

Six Month Block Payment

For those who wish to use the facilities for only part of the season - $275 + either Competitive ($120) or Non-Competitive ($65) Rowing Tas registration.

• All benefits of the senior membership are applicable.
• Payments due as follows:
  • $275 for the period 01/10/2025 - 31/03/2026
  • $275 for the period 01/04/2026 - 30/09/2026

Senior/School Rower Only Coxswain

Membership $0 + Senior ($120) or SRO ($65) Rowing Tas registration

• Entitlements are the same as Senior/Master/Junior Pennant Competitor memberships.
• May vote at club meetings in accordance with TRC Constitution.

Volunteer

• No charge, but must complete the registration form with Rowing Tasmania.

Boat Storage

Storage of hull in TRC shed for 2025-26 season - $155

• Must be a member of the Tamar Rowing Club in some capacity.
